As a Software Delivery Team Lead at Siemens Mobility, you will have broad responsibilities and the opportunity to guide the development team tasks. You will lead the development team activities and work closely with a core team of backend developers and QA professionals to ensure the resulting product meets requirements, passes quality gates, scales as needed and is a joy to use.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical teams through coaching and mentorship to champion best practices.
  • Implement unit tests to ensure high code quality and coverage metrics.
  • Investigate, debug, and resolve system functionality and performance issues.
  • Mentor junior developers to improve their coding practices.
  • Develop projects and collaborate with clients on project scope.

This is a 1-year contract opportunity with possibility of extension.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Several years of coding experience as an individual contributor.
  • Experience developing unit tests, including mocking frameworks.
  • Agile development team experience.
  • Comfort working with task tracking software like Jira.
Competencies:
  • Aptitude for learning new languages.
  • Versatile and fast learner with passion for quality software and collaboration across teams.
  • Takes pride in craft, understanding what it means to ship high-quality code.
  • Experience with Agile Software Development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English essential.

The successful candidate must be bilingual, fluent in French and English (verbal and written) for customer and supplier interactions, and software usage.
