About The Role

The Piping Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing junior staff in coordinating, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, and quality control functions. Initially, this role will support a large multidisciplinary industrial project based in Regina for approximately the next 10 months.

  • Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company's interests and maintain good relationships with clients.
  • Ensure that projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement the project plan after being awarded the project.
  • Coach/mentor, provide direction, and review the performance of personnel reporting directly to you.
  • Provide leadership and oversight on management of project Safety, Environmental, and Quality Systems.
  • Monitor and control progress, costs, and budgets throughout the project.
  • Review each project's progress with the project staff as the project proceeds.
  • Identify required and optional changes in project scope; negotiate change orders with the owner.
  • Provide daily reporting (piping and pipe Subtrades portion) updating activities, concerns, or issues.
  • Manage quantity tracking, EVR, and progress/productivity reporting for scope.
  • Manage material requisitions and maintain oversight on ordering for scope.

  • Coordinating and managing project schedules and timelines.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Providing guidance and coaching to team members.
  • Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and clients.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:

  • A Mechanical/Industrial Engineering degree or Technology diploma.
  • 3-7 years of direct project management experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of industrial construction, including technology, equipment, materials, negotiation, engineering, estimating, scheduling, and safety.
  • Ability to work on remote projects and rotational schedules.
Benefits
