Lap of Love offers a unique and rewarding opportunity for an Associate Veterinarian to join our compassionate team in the Garden District.

We are seeking a skilled and caring individual who shares our commitment to providing peaceful hospice and euthanasia services to pets in the comfort of their homes.

As a member of our team, you will have the flexibility to work independently, with an average of 2-4 appointments daily, allowing you to provide unrushed care to every pet and pet family.

This role offers a guaranteed base salary, customized medical insurance plans, 401k with company match, generous paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Our comprehensive wellness program includes mental, physical, and financial support services, as well as total life insurance, parental and bereavement leave, dependent care FSA, short- and long-term disability insurance, and pet insurance.

The ideal candidate will possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, a valid U.S. driver's license, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
