Strategic Mapping Inc: DevOps System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps System Engineer to join our team at Strategic Mapping Inc. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Windows-based infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Windows Network and System Administration: Ensure the stability, security, and performance of our Windows-based network and systems.
  • Microsoft SQL Server Administration: Design, implement, and maintain our Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Cloud Services Management: Manage our Hyper-V virtual machines and Azure/AWS cloud services to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Software Deployment and Automation: Develop and implement scripts to automate software deployment, configuration, and monitoring in our Windows/IIS/.NET/Azure environment.
  • Infrastructure and Application Performance Monitoring: Use Dynatrace to monitor and optimize the performance of our infrastructure and applications.
Requirements:
  • Windows Systems: Active Directory, Hyper-V, and Windows Server experience.
  • TFS 2013 and Release Manager 2013: Familiarity with build, deployment, and automation processes.
  • Visual Studio 2013 and C#: Comfortable with C# development and debugging.
  • IIS Configuration and Troubleshooting: Experience with IIS configuration and troubleshooting.
  • .NET Web and Windows Services: Understanding of.NET Web and Windows services.
  • Web Technologies and Development: Familiarity with web development, testing, and debugging.
  • Dynatrace v.5.6: Experience with Dynatrace performance monitoring.
  • PowerShell Scripting: Skilled in PowerShell scripting.
  • Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS: Experience with cloud services management.
  • VoIP (Asterisk, FreePBX): Understanding of VoIP protocols and administration.
