DevOps System Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer / Sysadmin / DBA to support our Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) team at Strategic Mapping Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain Windows networks and systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Administer Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Oversee Hyper-V virtual machines and cloud services on Azure and AWS, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
  • Deploy software in Windows / IIS /.NET / Azure environments, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Monitor infrastructure and application performance using Dynatrace, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Automate tasks using PowerShell and SQL scripting, streamlining processes and reducing manual errors.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with Windows systems, including Active Directory and Hyper-V.
  • Expertise in TFS 2013 with Release Manager 2013, including build, deployment, and automation.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio 2013 and C# programming.
  • Strong understanding of IIS configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with.NET Web and Windows services, as well as web technologies and development.
  • Knowledge of web software lifecycle and Dynatrace v.6.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and cloud services on Azure and AWS.
  • Understanding of VoIP protocols and administration.
