About the Role:
As an Occupational Therapist with Alberta Health Services, you will provide comprehensive services to individuals, groups, or communities, focusing on occupational performance and meeting their needs. You will engage clients in meaningful occupations, including self-care, productivity, and leisure, while supporting their cognitive, affective, spiritual, and physical strengths and limitations.
Key Responsibilities:
You will provide triage, screening, consultation, assessment, diagnosis, collaborative goal setting, treatment, prevention, self-management, education, case management, referral, transition support, and collaboration with relevant stakeholders and supports within the client's physical, institutional, cultural, and social environments.
Requirements:
Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program. Registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT) is also required.
Preferred Qualifications:
A current AADL Authorizer is preferred.
