Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our global brokerage team at GGB - Global. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to assess risk and determine bond eligibility.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and analyze contract documents, including bid bonds, performance bonds, and payment bonds to ensure compliance with established guidelines and regulations.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments to pinpoint potential issues and mitigate risks associated with surety bonds.
- Monitor and manage existing surety bond portfolios, including reviewing financial statements, assessing bond performance, and identifying potential claims.
- Investigate and process surety bond claims, including reviewing claim documentation, conducting investigations, and negotiating settlements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all surety bond transactions, including applications, approvals, denials, and claims.
- Provide outstanding customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance on surety bond requirements.
- Experience in surety bond underwriting and risk assessment.
- Good knowledge of markets and their policy wordings.
- Knowledge of Carrier Portals and EPIC an asset.
- Proficient in using computer software and applications, including MS Office Suite and surety bond management systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Licensing in good standing.
- CIP, CAIB, CRM, etc) highly preferred.
