At Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG), we're seeking a talented Risk Management Specialist to join our global brokerage team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding businesses and empowering their ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to assess risk and determine bond eligibility.
  • Analyze contract documents, including bid bonds, performance bonds, and payment bonds, to ensure compliance with established guidelines and regulations.
  • Conduct detailed risk assessments to pinpoint potential issues and mitigate risks associated with surety bonds.
  • Monitor and manage existing surety bond portfolios, including reviewing financial statements, assessing bond performance, and identifying potential claims.
  • Investigate and process surety bond claims, including reviewing claim documentation, conducting investigations, and negotiating settlements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all surety bond transactions.
Requirements:
  • Experience in surety bond underwriting and risk assessment.
  • Good knowledge of markets and their policy wordings.
  • Knowledge of Carrier Portals and EPIC an asset.
  • Proficient in using computer software and applications, including MS Office Suite and surety bond management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Licensing in good standing.
  • CIP, CAIB, CRM, etc) highly preferred.
