Experienced Medical Radiation Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

As an integral member of the Joint Department of Medical Imaging team, you will perform various Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures at University Health Network. State-of-the-art technology and a team of innovative staff dedicated to patient care and superb image quality, backed by a commitment to continuing education and quality assurance program initiatives, ensure exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Magnetic Resonance imaging procedures as outlined in protocol/procedure manuals.
  • Ensure MRI Safety Standards of practice are followed at all times.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and ensure safe functioning of medical imaging and ancillary equipment.
  • Prepare written and electronic reports required to document all procedures and test results.

Skill Requirements:

  • Demonstrate strong technical skills and image quality.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of MRI Safety Principles.
  • Effective time management skills, ability to organize work, and set priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and recognition skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including formal clinical documentation.
