Wound Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Wound Care Specialist to join our team at Saint Elizabeth Health Care. As a key member of our Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) Team, you will provide expert care and education to clients requiring specialty wound management and ostomy care.
About the Role:- Conduct comprehensive health and clinical assessments of clients, identifying priorities of care with the client and other members of the interdisciplinary team based on analysis of assessment.
- Develop and implement individualized plans for clients requiring specialty wound management and/or ostomy care, working closely with the NSWOCC Therapy Nurse.
- Promote and seek to improve client safety as part of your everyday work, proactively identifying potential risks and taking corrective action.
- Collaborate with care providers within the organization to provide education and consultation on best practices in wound care and ostomy management.
- Assess and recommend appropriate wound care and ostomy supplies, staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in the field.
