About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Painter Assistant at Richie Painting Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting our painters with various tasks related to construction and painting projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Safely load and unload construction materials, such as concrete and asphalt, from trucks and equipment.
  • Mixing and Applying Materials: Assist painters in mixing and applying materials, such as concrete and asphalt, to construction sites.
  • Cleaning and Piling Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Spill Response: Respond to chemical spills and other contaminants on construction sites.
  • Site Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment on construction sites.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Manual Dexterity: You will need to have good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks such as mixing and applying materials.
  • Attention to Detail: You must be able to pay close attention to detail to ensure that tasks are completed accurately and safely.
  • Teamwork: You will be working as part of a team, so you must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.

The primary language of work is English, and the work schedule is 32 to 40 hours per week.
