Senior Bridge Engineer

COWI A/S is seeking a highly skilled Senior Bridge Engineer to join our team in North America. As a key member of our bridge design team, you will be responsible for coordinating project deliverables, schedules, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients, technical staff, and other support staff to ensure project success.
  • Plan and develop engineering projects, including scope definition, problem selection, and key technical decisions.
  • Perform structural analysis, design, evaluation, and prepare calculations and drawings.
  • Prepare technical specifications, engineering reports, and other documents.
  • Research and review design options for technical and financial impact.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience in bridge design and project management.
  • Experience in bridge projects with Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors, the City of Edmonton, and the City of Calgary.
  • Proven technical expertise, demonstrated experience supervising tasks in bridge design and construction, and working knowledge of modern bridge design codes.
  • Professional Engineer License and experience with 3D structural modeling software.
