Your Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Central Zone. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide clinical professional practice to adult clients with swallowing and communication difficulties in rural communities.
Description:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing prevention, health promotion, identification, assessment, intervention, and case management services to adult clients. You will work collaboratively with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and other partners to plan, coordinate, and deliver rehabilitation services. Your leadership and interpersonal skills will be essential in supervising students and providing clinical guidance to other staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical professional practice to adult clients with swallowing and communication difficulties
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to manage caseload and ensure efficient service delivery
- Participate in the planning, coordination, and delivery of rehabilitation services
- Supervise students and provide clinical guidance to other staff as needed
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in assessment and treatment of adult clients experiencing swallowing and communication difficulties.
