Sweat and Tonic is a boutique fitness and wellness studio that offers a unique and holistic approach to health and wellness. Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to explore their movement and challenge themselves, while integrating a unique approach that considers biohacking, group fitness, nutrition, and other wellness offerings.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Personal Trainer who is passionate about all aspects of health and wellness. As a Personal Trainer at Sweat and Tonic, you will be responsible for creating safe spaces for clients to explore movement and challenge themselves, while integrating a unique holistic approach that considers our biohacking, group fitness, nutrition, and other wellness offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop specific programming for clients based on their unique demands and needs
  • Demonstrate movements with exceptional form and lead by example for all clients
  • Educate clients on proper movement standards and how to safely use equipment
  • Motivate clients to achieve their fitness goals and celebrate their successes
  • Stay up-to-date with Sweat and Tonic's mission, class offerings, spa services, nutrition, and other services
  • Utilize social media platforms to promote yourself and Sweat and Tonic
  • Build strong relationships with all staff and guests of Sweat and Tonic
  • Ensure the training space remains organized and meets Sweat and Tonic's standards
  • Manage and maintain your schedule
  • Check-in and billing for all appointments
Requirements
  • Hold a recognized Personal Training certification
  • 5+ years of experience personal training clients
  • First-aid/CPR certified
  • Personal liability insurance
  • Organized and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent movement knowledge with the ability to use verbal, tactile, and visual coaching techniques
  • Proficient at designing and implementing individual workouts with a keen eye for progression and growth
  • Reliable and able to provide flexible weekly hours (10+)
  • Possesses a natural ability to create connections and build community
  • Enjoys work autonomy within a team
  • Available to provide flexible weekly hours (10+)
  • Special skills that could include boxing, athletic style conditioning, mobility, and other sport-specific training are not necessary but an asset to the role
  • Experience using Jane booking/appointment software is ideal
  • Appreciate feedback to improve their own skill set
  • Experience with small group training is an asset
Compensation and Benefits
  • $70/1-1 single session, $104/partner session, up to $100 for small group
  • Sweat and Tonic All Access Unlimited Membership
  • Continued Education Remuneration
