We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Maintenance Technician to fill a permanent position in London, ON, supporting our Automotive business. Our automotive products fall into four primary groups: Seating and Lumbar support, Wireless Charging, Motors and Actuators, and Mechanical Cables. So, what will you be doing as a Maintenance Technician?

- Based on technical skill (electrician, mechanic, tooling) responsible for resolving Equipment break downs.
- Responsible for fulfilling the preventive maintenance plan.
- Responsible for continuous improvement of preventive maintenance plan, based on lesson learned.
- Support during the development and installation of new manufacturing equipment.
- Support in the development and implementation of improvement activities for all manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure legal and EHS compliance regarding all changes implemented for manufacturing equipment and the facility.
- Fulfill assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

- Trained Technician (Electrician, Mechanics, Control, Tooling, or the like)
- 2-3 years of working experience in the trained area
- Ideally, experienced in manufacturing companies
- Technical expertise in respective area
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Understanding of LEAN methods (TPM, SMED, or the like) and preventive maintenance
