About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail salespersons and sales clerks
    • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service
  • Store Operations
    • Establish work schedules and ensure the store is adequately staffed
    • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve any issues that may arise
    • Provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers
  • Training and Development
    • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees, as well as other diverse groups
  • Store Maintenance
    • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring the store is well-stocked and visually appealing
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail supervisory role
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Client-focused and team-oriented
