Job Title: Building Superintendent

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Building Superintendent to join our team at Perfect Janitorial Services.

Job Summary:

The Building Superintendent will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our apartment/condominium complex. This includes sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing hallways, floors, and stairs, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and scrub hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris, dirt, and heavy waste.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent odors and pests.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a beautiful and welcoming environment.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Work with minimal supervision to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access.
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
