At Magicuts, we're looking for a talented and charismatic leader to join our team as a Salon Manager. As the heartbeat of the salon, you'll be responsible for managing all operations, providing leadership and tools for success, and ensuring the highest quality of service for each guest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and resolving challenges with professionalism.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase clientele and profitability, while teaching stylists the ins and outs of business.
  • Set the example by providing all hair care services offered by Magicuts, ensuring exceptional quality and attention to detail.
  • Act as a coach and mentor, bringing out the best in salon employees and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Hire, recruit, train, and handle conflicts and client complaints with ease and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Tech savvy and able to perform administrative tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel to mandatory meetings and training sessions, including overnight travel.

Physical Requirements:

  • Good eyesight to observe a guest's hair, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Comfortable with lifting, bending, and performing repetitive movements, occasionally lifting 10-25 lbs.
  • Ability to work in an environment with chemicals and fragrances.
