Job Title: Senior Estimator

Avanica furniture & Decor is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate Preparation: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects, utilizing your expertise in quantity take-off procedures and cost monitoring systems.
  • Master Format Estimates: Prepare master format estimates (Class A) for our clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Computer Software: Operate CADD and other computer software systems to support your estimating work.
  • Estimate Reports: Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bids forms to our clients and stakeholders.
  • Tender Analysis: Analyze tenders and recommend awards to our clients, ensuring the best value for their projects.
  • Cost Monitoring: Set up and monitor cost monitoring and reporting systems to ensure accurate tracking of project expenditures.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in estimating or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
