Framing Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Marcantonio Designs Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for framing and assembling structures, ensuring precision and quality in every detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures, adhering to building codes and regulations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Excellent physical stamina, with ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment, with a focus on safety and quality
Work Environment:
