About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at U.KTIONS INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The work environment is physically demanding and requires the ability to work in a variety of settings, including construction sites and industrial plants.
