About the RoleOur Assistant Store Managers play a crucial role in supporting our Store Managers in overseeing the day-to-day operation of our retail arm. They ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, particularly when the Store Manager is not on shift.
Assistant Store Managers collaborate closely with our Optometrists to deliver a superior customer experience. They set a positive example for our store team members who also rely on their ability to resolve less complex problems.
About the PersonWe are looking for effective and caring leaders who are organized, able to think on their feet, and make good decisions that support the continued growth of our brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer-facing roles, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and supervisory roles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising other workers and delivering on-site training to junior members of a team.
- Building meaningful and long-term relationships with customers.
- Supporting the Store Manager in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
