Job DescriptionThis full-time position involves providing attachment-focused, trauma-informed lessons to our students while supervising a small group of instructor educators in a collaborative setting. Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing a safe and therapeutic learning environment
- Offering ongoing support and feedback to ensure high-quality interventions
- Collecting classroom observations and submitting them to the School Principal
- Participating in team training and workshops
- Collaborating with parents/guardians and families to ensure high-quality care
- Providing supervision for school outings and field trips
- Liaising with the School Principal and Owner to improve and expand program offerings
You will also be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans that incorporate various subjects, including Language Arts, STEAM, Mathematics, Physical Education, Health Education, and more. Additionally, you will provide mental health support to children during classroom hours and engage in therapeutic relationship-building activities.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in mental health counseling, education, or social work
- Experience working with children, youth, and families
- Certification or relevant degree in counseling, psychology, or social work
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A passion for helping individuals develop social and emotional skills
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive compensation package that reflects the importance of this role in supporting the growth and well-being of our students.
