Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Ontario Inc. The ideal candidate will have no degree, certificate, or diploma, but will be eager to learn and train on the job.
Work SettingThe successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure. They will be responsible for keeping records of food quantities, packaging take-out food, and preparing simple food items.
Key Responsibilities- Keep accurate records of food quantities used
- Package take-out food for customers
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars
- Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
The Food Counter Attendant will work under the supervision of food service counter attendants and food preparers. They will also receive support from our team to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Will train on the job
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work under pressure
