Marine Infrastructure Project Coordinator

Aecon Nuclear has been awarded a contract with Ontario Power Generation to support the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP). As part of this agreement, we are seeking a Marine Works Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall coordination of project work in close cooperation with the Alliance Partner under the Project Integrated Contract.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate project work to ensure collective focus on execution goals and tracking/completion of all actions and deliverables across all work groups.
- Lead technical discussions with Engineering and Subcontractors to develop final design and specifications.
- Develop Method Statements and construction packages.
- Creation and implementation of Action/Recovery Plans to address any schedule performance issues.
- Validate and monitor project metrics (Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule) for assigned work segments.
- Post-secondary university or college technical degree and/or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years Project Management experience in a related role.
- Previous experience with marine, coastal or offshore works required.
- Ability to lead technical discussions with specialty Subcontractors and provincial stakeholders for permits and design approval.
- Strong organizational, communication and customer relationship skills.
- Great team coordination and 'work together' mind set.
- Extensive knowledge of project execution, financial operations, estimating and employee relations required.
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have access to our comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan.
