Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Dental Therapy Instructor to join our team at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. As a Dental Therapy Instructor, you will be responsible for providing didactic and clinical instruction and assessment of performance in the Dental Therapy programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide lectures, seminars, and/or labs to students in the Dental Therapy programs.
- Supervise and evaluate students in clinical settings.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current dental principles, procedures, and techniques, as well as the principles of adult education.
- Develop and maintain course curriculum.
- Conduct various aspects of program administration as required.
- Provide dental therapy services as required.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
- Graduate of a Dental Therapy Program.
- Eligible for registration and licensure as a dental therapist in Saskatchewan.
- Related baccalaureate degree (or be working toward completion of a related degree).
- Training in educational theory and methodology.
- Minimum of two years recent and relevant dental therapy experience in a dental office utilizing current dental principles, procedures, and techniques.
- Effective communication skills.

- Effective interpersonal skills.
