Our Opportunity:

This role is part of the People Business Partner team and will support the Debert Distribution Centre. The successful candidate will coordinate, facilitate, and execute activities in recruitment, employee relations, and employee programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal investigations as required
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new employees
  • Communicate company initiatives to all employees
  • Assist supervisors with return-to-work processes
  • Provide guidance on attendance management
  • Communicate benefits and total rewards programs to employees
  • Support performance management across departments

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of HR Generalist experience with a focus on recruitment
  • Previous experience in recruitment and employee relations for a Distribution or Manufacturing group
  • Strong understanding of employment standards across Canada
  • Flexibility to work different shifts based on business needs
  • University degree and/or college diploma in Business/Human Resources
  • Strong communication, organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills
