About the Role

KANG PAVING is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of concrete finishes for our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it meets the required density
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to ensure accuracy
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, such as trowels and screeds
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to secure concrete structures
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and prevent damage
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to prevent water damage and ensure durability
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain their integrity
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in a fast-paced environment
