The Role: Senior Software Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team, expanding our banking platform. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for developing world-class digital products and experiences that touch millions of Tangerine customers daily.

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated influencer, maker, creator, and leader who is flexible, curious, adventurous, versatile, and responsive. You will thrive in a collaborative and productive environment, rolling up your sleeves to get things done while making a significant impact on our customers and the banking industry.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • You will design, develop, and debug software applications, leveraging your expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Angular 2+, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • You will contribute to the development of large-scale software applications, considering security and scalability requirements.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that exceed customer expectations.
What We're Looking For:
  • A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related tech field.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior developer role.
  • Experience with unit testing, code review, and continuous integration.
  • A solid understanding of designing patterns, MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, and cloud development.
  • Familiarity with CICD and DevOps best practices.
