About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Experiential Partnerships Specialist at Khoury College. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our experiential learning function, helping students gain practical, career-relevant experiences that supplement their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in their field of study. This includes designing and running large-scale programs, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and developing relationships with industry partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry hiring and employment trends, as well as a holistic view of experiential learning and its role in preparing students for careers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have:

  • Experience designing and running complex programs, both independently and in collaboration with others
  • A professional background in experiential learning, preferably in the technology education/life sciences space
  • An understanding of industry hiring and employment trends relevant to the Toronto degree programs
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, faculty, alumni, and external partners
  • Flexibility and an ability to adapt to evolving priorities in a growing campus environment
  • Excellent skills in relationship building, event planning, marketing, public relations, and database management
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 3-5 years' experience supporting career development at a higher education institution or job-focused training program
