Experiential Education Coordinator

Join the Office of Experiential Education (OEE) at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy as a Placement Coordinator. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the successful placement of students enrolled in various programs at the Faculty.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate the placement of students in experiential programs, working closely with the Director, OEE, and other staff and faculty members.
- Prepare students for all non-academic aspects of experiential programs, providing information on placement site requirements and processes.
- Track student placement documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Interact and engage with preceptors and other industry partners to support the experiential process, identifying, fostering, and maintaining relationships with potential and existing employers.
- Resolve issues during experiential rotations and foster positive relations with internal and external stakeholders.
The OEE is responsible for ensuring the delivery and coordination of diverse experiential education experiences for students enrolled in various programs at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. The OEE operates as the central hub for all activities related to experiential education, providing support to pharmacist preceptors in practice sites across the province and beyond.

You will also have the chance to work closely with other faculty and staff to support the experiential process and foster positive relations with internal and external stakeholders.
This is an exciting time for the OEE as the Faculty is currently undergoing a large-scale curriculum renewal for its largest undergraduate program, the PharmD program. This will impact the structure and delivery of experiential programming, providing opportunities for the successful candidate to contribute to the development of new experiential experiences.
