About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant, Client Services to join our team at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM). As a key member of our Client and Funding Services Unit, you will provide exceptional support to our clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to clients experiencing difficulties with the GMF application portal
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and email messages, responding to general inquiries and directing or transferring calls to appropriate internal parties
  • Book appointments for the Net-Zero Acceleration team with clients using the online calendar booking system
  • Provide general administrative support, including data entry services, calendar management, and other tasks as needed
Requirements
  • High School diploma
  • Minimum of 1-3 years related work experience
  • Help desk experience a strong asset
  • Working knowledge of business support processes and tools, computer business applications (Microsoft Office suite)
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and quality assurance
  • Ability to direct calls using a telephone system
  • Fluency in both official languages with excellent telephone rapport required
