Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technologist Assistant to join our neurology team at Central Victoria Animal Hospital.
The ideal candidate will have veterinary and/or administrative experience, with a strong ability to assist in daily operations. A veterinary assistant certificate would be an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinary staff with patient handling, surgery prep, client communication, and scheduling consultations and procedures.
- Create a warm and welcoming environment for patients and their families.
- Maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, ensuring the cleanliness of work areas, pet holding areas, and common spaces.
- Stay up-to-date on veterinary services, medical office procedures, and assisting the veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments.

Compensation:
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $45-$55 per hour, depending on location and experience.
