Master Woodworker

We are seeking a skilled Master Woodworker to join our team at Black Mountain Precision Construction LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for carrying out various tasks related to woodwork, including measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials.
About the Role:The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent physical capabilities, including bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will work outdoors in dusty environments and be required to survey building locations and levels, estimate costs and materials, and maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Scheduling and coordinating work on sites
- Surveying building locations and levels
- Estimating costs and materials
- Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Bending, crouching, kneeling
- Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety vest
We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 per annum, plus benefits such as free parking available, permanent employment, and 32 hours of work per week. The language of work is English, and you must be available for shift or on-call work and the advertised start date.
