Job Title: Dietary Aide

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dietary Aide to join our team at Whispering Winds Village in Pincher Creek, Alberta. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our seniors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portion and serve food and beverages in the dining room, ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Load hot wagons and deliver food to resident neighborhoods, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Stock resident kitchens with essential items, such as paper products, snacks, and beverages.
  • Prepare tables in dining areas before mealtimes, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for residents.
  • Prepare beverages and food items, such as tea, coffee, and toast, and assemble food items like sandwiches and salads.
  • Assist the Chef with portioning and service of meals for special and catered events.
  • Perform cleaning tasks, such as sweeping and damp mopping floors, sanitizing countertops, sinks, machines, and equipment.
  • Perform related clerical duties, such as answering the phone and documenting information on menu cards.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in customer service, food service, or retail environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • FoodSafe Certification an asset.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector).
  • Provide Immunization Records.
