Senior Technology Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Risk Manager to join our team at CIBC. As a key member of our Technology Risk team, you will be responsible for leading technology audits and providing consultation to Internal Audit groups.
As a Technology Risk Manager, you will have expertise in technology risk and cloud security, including technology applications, infrastructure, and systems. You will lead technology audits in the SME portfolio and be responsible for the overall quality, execution timelines, and audit coverage.
You will also support Internal Audit groups by providing consultation and work programs to ensure coverage of technology risk within the audit universe. Your critical thinking skills will help you inform your decision-making, and your ability to write comprehensive and concise reports will be essential in communicating your findings to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Lead technology audits in the SME portfolio and ensure overall quality, execution timelines, and audit coverage.
- Provide consultation and work programs to Internal Audit groups to ensure coverage of technology risk within the audit universe.
- Develop and execute the annual Audit Plan for Technology risk.
- Communicate trends in risk and control issues to Internal Audit executives and contribute reports to senior management through the technology risk dashboard.
- Complete quality control reviews for Technology Risk audit work programs.
- Proven experience in technology risk and cloud security, including technology applications, infrastructure, and systems.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to write comprehensive and concise reports.
- Ability to lead teams and provide consultation to Internal Audit groups.
- Knowledge of auditing practices, procedures, and principles.
- Current accreditation in CISA, CISSP, or other relevant certifications.
