About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Tedcons Ontario Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and ensuring that our logistics and supply chain operations are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate Activities: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on warehouse operations, including metrics on productivity, efficiency, and quality.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews of warehouse staff to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
  • Work Scheduling: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient use of resources.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
Supervision

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 people, including purchasing and inventory clerks, shippers and receivers, and storekeepers and parts clerks.
