Job Title: Home Health Care Worker

Horton Family is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Care Worker to join our team. As a Home Health Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Encourage clients to engage in regular exercise, such as walking.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a safe and comfortable living space.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment.
  • Ability to work in the employer's/client's home.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
