Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to our residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Nursing Care

Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.

Assess and Plan Care

Assess the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents and develop individualized care plans to meet their needs.

Implement and Evaluate Care

Implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness in meeting the needs of residents.

Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for residents.

Ensure Resident Safety

Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by following established protocols and procedures.

Document Resident Information

Document resident information, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans.

Participate in Quality Improvement

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Requirements

  • Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.

Registration

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.

Certifications

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.

Communication Skills

Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Computer Proficiency

Basic computer proficiency.

Medical Clearance

Medical clearance, including TB tests, and a clear Criminal Record check.

Vaccination

Proof of vaccination and adherence to COVID-19 prevention protocols.
