About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions. As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our water treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment to ensure the optimal performance of our instrumentation systems.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
  • Programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate processes and improve efficiency.
  • Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems to monitor and control our water treatment processes.
  • Instrument experience in hydraulic systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
  • Additional sector experience in water treatment to understand the specific challenges and opportunities in this field.
  • Area of work experience in instrumentation to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in this role.
  • Area of specialization in hydraulics and fluids to apply your expertise in this area.
Requirements
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
