About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our Building & Facilities department at the Senneville site. This is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of terminal systems, including reheat, pumping, and RO water production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on terminal equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Assist external contractors and other technicians as needed
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on ventilation systems and neutralization systems
  • Verify PDM system functionality in animal rooms
  • Operate the BAS automated building system
  • Take differential pressure readings in the Vivarium

Requirements

  • DEP or DEC in Building Mechanics or Electromechanics
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to lift loads up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
  • Good teamwork skills
