About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Building Services Technician to join our team in Senneville, QC. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building systems and equipment.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have 5 years of experience in building mechanics or electromechanics, with a strong understanding of terminal reheat systems, pumping systems, and RO water production. You will work independently and as part of a team to respond to service calls, perform maintenance tasks, and assist external contractors.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to service calls and perform routine maintenance on building systems and equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on ventilation systems and other equipment.
  • Operate the BAS automated building system and take differential pressure readings in the Vivarium.
  • Assist in the installation and repair of new equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and teams to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Diploma or DEC in Building Mechanics or Electromechanics.
  • 5 years of experience in building maintenance and repairs.
  • Ability to lift loads up to 50 pounds and climb ladders safely.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team. Our Senneville site offers a free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College. We also provide free parking for those who drive.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
