Job Title: Instrumentation Technician

The Instrumentation Technician is a key member of our team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic instrumentation systems on our drilling rigs. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic instrumentation systems, including control systems, transmitters, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues with instrumentation systems.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure that all systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement procedures for the maintenance and repair of instrumentation systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections of instrumentation systems to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, including control systems, transmitters, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Valid offshore certification and ability to obtain necessary permits.
