Senior Nursing Educator, Saskatchewan Polytechnic

Saskatchewan Polytechnic seeks a highly qualified Senior Nursing Educator to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching, coaching, and supervising nursing students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary range for this position is approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
Job DescriptionYour primary responsibilities will include:
- Teaching and mentoring nursing students in a variety of settings, including classroom, lab, and clinical environments;
- Evaluating student progress and providing feedback to support their growth and development;
- Participating in the development, maintenance, and revision of curriculum to ensure it remains current and relevant;
- Collaborating with other faculty members and stakeholders to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment;
- Traveling to various locations to fulfill teaching and professional obligations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field;
- Eligibility for registration (active status) with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS);
- Minimum two years recent and relevant experience as a registered nurse working in acute care nursing;
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to apply theory, practices, and principles of adult education;
- Demonstrated competence in using technology, including the internet, email, and MS Office Suite software;
- Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment;
- Commitment to valuing diversity and promoting inclusivity.
