Job Title: Immigration Lawyer Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Immigration Lawyer Specialist to join our team at Martineau & Mindicanu. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on their legal rights and matters related to immigration law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on their legal rights and matters related to immigration law
- Perform administrative functions related to the practice of law
- Research legal precedents and gather evidence
- Draw up legal documents and prepare statements of legal opinion
- Supervise professional, para-legal and support staff and articling students
Requirements:
- Membership in a provincial or territorial law society
- 5 years or more of experience in immigration law
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work arrangement
- 40 hours per week
- Bilingual work environment
