Food Service Team Lead

Join our team at Indian Authentic Cuisine as a Food Service Supervisor, where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and hosts/hostesses, to ensure excellent customer service and efficient food preparation.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Plan and estimate the ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the right quantities on hand.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- Budgeting and Cost Estimates: Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for food, supplies, and labor, ensuring that we stay within our means.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment, willing to relocate
