Job Title: Geomatics Surveyor Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geomatics Surveyor Specialist to join our team at Kimtech Geomatics.

About the Job

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team, utilizing their skills and expertise to plan, direct, and supervise or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries of properties.

The ideal candidate will have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in land surveying, as well as a non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years. They will also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be organized, and have the ability to work in a variety of environments, including outdoors and in wet/damp conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare all data and documents related to surveys of real property boundaries
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Supervise other land surveyors and/or field crews
  • Plan, direct, and supervise or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries of properties
  • Determine precise locations using electronic distance measuring equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in land surveying
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to work in a variety of environments
