Job Title: Analyst, Metadata Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Analyst, Metadata Management to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, updating, and executing metadata processes for the Shared Data Management Office (SDMO) across all data domains in scope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to collect, update, and maintain metadata in Collibra.
  • Work with Business Stakeholders to ensure metadata is properly understood and maintained.
  • Develop knowledge and become a valuable team resource, supporting the execution of metadata practices in general.
  • Facilitate consistent adoption of metadata standards across the enterprise, demonstrating the value added by adoption of Collibra.
  • Assist with project work as required (e.g. regulatory deliverables).
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years' experience in an operational environment.
  • Prior experience with Enterprise Metadata Management and Data Governance platforms.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of metadata management concepts.
  • Ability to understand the importance of metadata as it relates to applicable policy and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of banking policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision/oversight to achieve short-term (daily/weekly/monthly) performance expectations.
