**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Competition Administrator to join our team working with First Nations. As an Administrative Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions and supporting the team in their efforts to develop and implement impactful prevention services.

**Responsibilities**

  • Coordinate and manage administrative and clerical tasks to support the team working with First Nations.
  • Organize travel and attend meetings in First Nations to ensure a high-level summary of discussion is captured.
  • Prepare written reports of all presentations and meetings with First Nations and assist with arranging any necessary follow-up.
  • Evaluate meeting spaces and requisition them ahead of schedule while managing applicable equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with organizing and scheduling meetings, workshops, and events related to prevention services.
  • Develop and maintain a highly organized system to keep up-to-date records of project activities, meetings, requests, and correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to prevention programs and initiatives.
  • Provide comprehensive support to assist with managing correspondence and follow-up with First Nations.

**Requirements**

  • A university degree in a related field of management and administration, office administration, or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in administration with direct provision for children and families.
  • Knowledge of First Nations culture, history, treaty, and inherent rights.
  • Experience working with First Nations and First Nations organizations or entities.
