Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Operations Specialist to join our team at Foresters Financial. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in adult education, training, and operations to drive business growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Deliver Training Programs: Develop and deliver training programs for adult learners, including e-learning and web-based materials, to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Support Business Operations: Collaborate with business leaders and subject matter experts to plan and deliver department-specific learning activities, ensuring alignment with changing business requirements.
  • Lead Training Initiatives: Take the lead on training initiatives, adjusting training plans and schedules, developing, designing, and delivering training content, including job aids, videos, gamification, and scripting.
  • Ensure Quality and Effectiveness: Evaluate the effectiveness of training through collection of feedback and analysis of metrics, including Quality Review results and trending.
  • Manage Training Content: Maintain and improve all training content and materials, ensuring they are available and accessible to the target audience.
  • Partner with Leaders: Partner with organizational leaders to recommend next steps for trainees, including advancement, additional training opportunities, and areas of concern.
Key Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: University degree or equivalent work experience, with 5-7 years of financial services experience, preferably in training, business processes, learning, and communications.
  • Certification and Knowledge: Certification in adult education or a commitment to obtain certification, with knowledge of current learning and development methodologies.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong coaching skills, superior organizational and project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to apply good judgment and make recommendations.
